Divo and Autodrop first to enter market

divo_1_stor Consensum products DIVO and Autodrop is the first to be launched. The company’s sales target is 500,000 DIVO units in the first five years. On the basis of a fair net contribution of  per unit, the total net sales revenues for the first five years exc eeds NOK 100 millions. This calculation is based on a market launch in 2013.

Consensum AS is a Norwegian company with international roots although the majority of its employees, partners and suppliers are located in Europe, US, Norway and Sweden. The company’s activities include the design, research, development and commercialisation of water safety products. Its objective is to enter the global marketplace with its own, patented products through a variety of distribution channels and its marketing strategy will be built around the unique life saving features of the products.Consensum is registered in Asker/Hønefoss and operates its activities from facilities in Karlstad, Sweden.

Intelectual Property Rights

The company’s IPR strategy is implemented through a combination of patenting and branding strategy. Its objective is to develop the broadest possible platform on which to secure the future of the company’s intellectual property rights and assets. A long-term objective is to combine a strong technical position with an IPR-strategy linked to safety products, with the aim of securing the strongest possible position in the marketplace. This strategy encompasses, amongst other factors, the securing of proprietary rights and/or public product and patent registration in order to establish barriers to the market entry of potential competitors.
