History

Ola Patriksson och Janne StöödEverything started inside the heads of two swedes, Janne Stood and Ola Patriksson. After a tragic accident involving Janne's oldest son it was a month of touch and go at the NICU in Uppsala, Sweden. The path to full recovery was long, however the outcome was finally happy. So Janne asked himself what good can possibly come out of this? After a while some ideas regarding safeguarding the head and neck in traffic accidents started to take form. However developing those ideas would take a lot of money and it was unproven ground. A realistic no-no.

Then Janne's daughter followed Ola in his SCUBAdiving footsteps in 2004 and got certified at the age of 12 and was on the way to her first dive after the course. Janne then called Ola on their way down to Lysekil, Sweden and was a little worried about safety. And he found there were no saftey equipment to speak of for SCUBA divers. The question was raised in view of Cypres(TM) which safeguards skydivers. Ola thought about it and after about twenty minutes he called Janne back and told him he had an idea about how to solve that problem.

Not stopping there, in september 2005 with a couple of high profiled robberies, Janne and Ola came up with an idea how to safeguard moneybills against theft.

Together with two friends, Janne and Ola started to raise capital for the innovations. After a year of ups and downs they finally met three Norweigian businessmen, Erik Overen, Jarle Ornebo and Bernt Einersen. The company Consensum AS was then founded in February 2006. Directly after that, a new emission was concluded which gained about 5 MNOK to start developing DIVO.

After about 1 year DIVO ended up in the hands of the german industrial giants Rexroth-Bosch. With their commitment in devloping and then producing the DIVO product, it is safe to say it is in good hands.

Right now the 4th generation of prototype is being finalized.
